Geography

Introduction

Geography as a discipline enables us to understand the Earth we are living in from a spatial perspective. It offers a systematic framework for enquiry into questions about the world that surrounds us. Geography forms a bridge between the social sciences and the physical sciences, providing an understanding of the dynamics of cultures, societies and economies on the one hand, and those of physical landscapes and environmental processes on the other.

Objectives

Geography as a subject provides a dynamic understanding of the changing world and shows the interactions between human and environment. We make a lot of effort to promote different geographical concepts and hot geographical issues to our students. We target at raising their awareness on how the contemporary geographical issues are going to affect human’s daily life.

Learning geography should be interactive and learners should have opportunities to gain real experience and explore geographical issues themselves. We aim at providing such an environment to facilitate their learning
