Assignments are designed to help students consolidate their classroom learning and apprise teachers of students’ progress of learning so as to devise the right strategy to ensure the effectiveness of teaching and learning.

Students are strongly advised to hand in their assignments punctually so that teachers can give timely feedback and, if necessary, make improvement. At the end of each term, students will be rewarded for handing in all their assignments on time. For those who frequently fail to do so will be subjected to some forms of punishment to be determined by the Homework Policy Team.

Students’ work will be marked by teachers or peers, depending on the nature of the assignments.
